What Is NanoG Antibacterial™?

NanoG Antibacterial™ has been used for the treatment of medical ailments for over 100 years due to its natural antibacterial and antifungal properties. The NanoG Antibacterial™ particles typically measure less than 10 nm. They have an extremely large relative surface area, increasing their contact with bacteria or fungi, and vastly improving its bactericidal and fungicidal effectiveness.

Photo-Catalyst

Photo-Catalysts facilitate chemical reactions by absorbing light, in contrast to other catalysts, which use heat. In the natural world, photosynthesis is a well-known example of photocatalysis. Superoxides and hydroxyl radicals, which are forms of active oxygen, are generated on a surface treated with NanoG Antibacterial™ when UV rays are absorbed and electrons are excited, and organic matter (germs and substances responsible for foul odors) that comes into contact with the surface is oxidized, broken down and removed. By this, sterilization, deodorization, antifouling and removal of pollutants can be achieved. Moreover, as UV rays are part of sunlight and fluorescent light, no special operating costs are required and the reaction can be maintained semi-permanently.

When photo-catalyst is exposed to light in the presence of water vapor, two highly reactive substances are formed: hydroxyl radicals [OH] and a superoxide anion [O2-1]. It allows the oxidation of airborne VOCs and toxic organic matter into carbon dioxide and water at room temperature with UV or near-UV light source. It does not need a special energy and use only clean energy in ordinary life. NanoMax® titanium dioxide has strong photo catalyst reaction. It has strong oxidation and decomposition strength.
